The National Capital Region Invasive Plant Management Team (IPMT) is excited to announce openings for 2 Biological Science Technicians (1039) and 5 Conservation Legacy Individual Placement Internship (40-week) positions for the 2026 field season!
These positions offer hands-on restoration experience across National Capital Region national parks, working to reduce invasive plants and restore native habitats. The team schedule runs Monday through Thursday, giving you three-day weekends all season! Training opportunities may include Chainsaw, Safety, Maintenance & Operations training, Wildland Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2) training, and potential participation in prescribed fire operations.
Conservation Legacy Individual Placement Interns are eligible for a $5,176.50 AmeriCorps Segal Education Award and Public Land Corps Hiring Authority upon successful completion.
