Green Startup Intern IMMEDIATE NEED

Job Title: Green Startup Intern

Job Description: Assist co-founders with product development and sales & marketing of living umbrellas (www.livingcanopies.com). 

Tasks may include testing equipment, preparing and caring for plants, assembling mechanical portions of the living umbrella, creating digital drawings, packing umbrellas for shipping, installing and servicing umbrellas at commercial establishments, data entry, sales lead development, sales calls, assist with sales presentations and other general tasks as requested.   

 

Who: Living Canopies Ltd 

When: Weekdays mostly with some weekends. 5-10 hours per week 

Where: College Park campus, UMD “Terp” Farm in Upper Marlboro, Baltimore, Frederick, DC, NOVA, and DelMarVa. 

Compensation: $10 per hour 

Requirements: Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Good communication skills. 

Preferred: Experience with plants, mechanical tools, electronics, sales, or CAD.
