An ideal candidate will hold a BS (for the MS position) or MS (for the PhD position) in Biology, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Coastal Science, or a related discipline. Strong performance in relevant coursework and past research experience are key. Good written and oral communication skills, a willingness to work hard and learn new things, self-motivation, and a positive attitude are also important for success.
