The Nepal: Geoscience in the Himalaya field program is available this summer despite the pandemic.
This 7-week summer program emphasizes both traditional field skills and investigations into geohazards, engineering geology, and other human-Earth system interactions. It is run collaboratively with instructors at Nepal’s national university and includes Nepali student participants, making it a truly cultural experience as well as scientific.
