Guided Bird Walks & Migratory Bird Festival

Guided Bird Walks: Fran Uhler Natural Area – first Saturday of each month: September 3; October 1; November 5; December 3. Leader: Bill Sefton. Meet at the parking area off Lemons Bridge Road north of Bowie State University at 7:30 am. and Lake Artemesia Natural Area – first and third Thursdays of each month: September 1, September 15, October 6, October 20, November 3, November 17, December 1, December 15. The walks are led by Terry Watson and Marc Manheimer. Meet at the parking lot at the corner of Ballew Avenue and Berwyn Road in Berwyn Heights. The start time is 3 pm from September through March. Migration Festival at Lake Artemesia Natural Area – Saturday, September 24, 9 am – 12 noon. Sponsored by Prince George’s Audubon Society.
