I am excited to share with you a great opportunity to join an outstanding team of staff and volunteers at the Sierra Club, Maryland Chapter. We are seeking a Climate Campaign Representative to develop and implement local, state, and regional strategies to combat the climate crisis.
As the climate crisis worsens and systemic racism fuels inequity, the Sierra Club is fighting for a bold, transformational agenda that recognizes the interconnectedness between our planet, our humanity, and our democracy.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about building a stronger, more diverse movement to accelerate clean energy deployment and electrify buildings across Maryland. This will include work in partnership with and support of communities and constituencies that have suffered the most from pollution and have been historically underserved by opportunities for economic growth and prosperity.
The Sierra Club is our country's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization. The Maryland Chapter drives the Sierra Club's work in Maryland, powered by our five staff and hundreds of volunteers, with support from the national Club.
