Potential host sites range from federal agencies (US Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park Service, US Geological Service) to state agencies (MD Dept of Natural Resources, MD Dept of the Environment) to county agencies (Anne Arundel County Dept of Public Works, Frederick County Office of Sustainability, Prince George’s County Public Schools) to large (National Aquarium, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, The Nature Conservancy) and small local nonprofits (Blue Water Baltimore, ShoreRivers, Potomac Conservancy). The type of work Corps Members accomplish falls into six different categories: environmental restoration, environmental education, forestry, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and community engagement).
