Sustainable Maryland Position: Project Assistant Intern (unpaid)

Department: Environmental Finance Center (EFC) - School of Architecture, Preservation & Planning
Job Description: The Project Assistant will be assigned primarily to the Sustainable Maryland program at EFC, a free and voluntary program designed for Maryland’s 157 municipalities who want to go green, save money, and take steps to be more sustainable. This program provides municipal Green Teams with a menu of Action items as well as the necessary trainings, tools, and resources needed to develop a broad-based sustainability program. Using the unique certification platform, community leaders can coordinate local-level decision making around best practices in resource areas like water, energy, planning, health, food, and economy in order to take Actions and earn points towards becoming Sustainable Maryland Certified.
