Howard EcoWorks is located in Columbia and the sites for work are located all around Howard County. It is a workforce development program for young environmental professionals who want to experience field work and other positions to help guide career goals. They work with native plants, constructing rain gardens and bayscapes, as well as survey invasive species and maintain Department of Public Works Sites around the county.
They will be hiring a few positions this spring as well as in the summer and fall sessions (March-June, June-Sept, Sept-Dec). Work is generally 40 hours a week, 8am-4:30pm in the spring and fall, and 7am-3:30pm in the summer. Click here for more information about the positions they have available and to apply.
