Appalachian Conservation Corps has partnered with Catoctin Mountain Park to hire one Resource Management Individual Placement to support the Natural Resource and Trail Management programs through hands-on fieldwork focused on invasive plant control and trail maintenance.
This is a paid, 28-week AmeriCorps internship that is based out of Sabillasville, MD, and runs from May 11th, 2026 – November 20th, 2026 (28 weeks) with park housing available. Since this is a full-time position, we are seeking recent graduates or alumni that are available to work 40 hours/week.
Pay is $800/week and members will receive a $3,697.50 AmeriCorps Segal Education Award upon completion of the program, which can be used to pay back federal loans or for additional schooling.
