The Udall Foundation is pleased to announce the 2020 Udall Scholarship. We request your assistance in identifying students who are eligible and encouraging them to apply.
This is a merit-based award for college sophomores and juniors attending Tribal colleges and two-year or four-year universities. Applicants must demonstrate leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment. 55 Scholars receive up to $7,000 each for educational expenses and a trip to Tucson, AZ for Scholar Orientation (August 2020), where they will meet like-minded scholars, develop new skills, and network with professionals in the environment and Tribal affairs. The award also includes life-time membership in the Udall alumni community—a vibrant professional organization offering job, internship, and academic opportunities. The online application can only be accessed and submitted through a Udall faculty representative at the student's college or university. A sample application is also available for reference and can be found on our website. Online applications are due March 5th, 2020.
