My name is Jonathan Allebach and I am reaching out with a great opportunity for students to obtain marine research experience. We, the Ocean Mammal Institute, are a non-profit organization that offers an internship every January teaching field research methods on Humpback whales in Maui, Hawaii. We have offered this course for over 20 years and many of you have provided us with excellent students in the past. The majority of applicants we get are in the science field but we accept all majors! We work with college advisors to allow students to take this course for college credit, if applicable. We can be found on Handshake and Chegg internships, and would love to work with your school to get us posted on your institution's internship portal. I have attached a copy of our 2023 program flyer that you can feel free to share with whomever might be interested.
