The Sustainable Horticulture Program at Community College of Baltimore County is soliciting applications for Adjunct Faculty. Individuals with expertise that prepares them to teach any of the courses described at
https://www.ccbcmd.edu/Programs-and-Courses/Degrees-and-Certificates/Catalog/Common-Course-Outlines/Horticulture.asp are invited to apply. In addition, there is a need for individuals who can provide supervised and guided, paid or unpaid, Co-op work experience at a farm or industry location that develops skills in sustainable horticulture including production and sales in urban agriculture.Faculty support learning by preparing and delivering instruction, timely submission of materials for duplication and grades, and coordinate activities with the Program Director. Co-op instructors define learning objectives, develop content mastery strategies and verify student learning.
Adjunct Faculty will be available to help students during one office hour each week per class, will participate in some Department or College activities, and are encouraged to participate in professional development.
