Pickering Creek Audubon Center seeks three full-time School Year Educators to assist in growing and delivering our successful environmental education programs. The School Year Educators will serve as integral to our education team; report to the center’s Director of Education; and work closely with all center staff. They will maintain positive and friendly working relationships with the general public, volunteers, and local/regional community organizations and school groups. School Year Educators bring their enthusiasm about the natural world and inspire conservation action among our audiences.
This is a full-time seasonal position beginning September 8, 2021 through June 3, 2022. There is a 6-week winter break from December 6 through January 14. On-site housing is available. Some weekends and evenings required. On-site and in-person programming required, with the possibility to work from home during non-program days. Pickering Creek Audubon Center prioritizes following CDC and local guidance on maintaining a safe working environment for our team.
Salary: $15/hour, 35-hour work week
