Please share with students: Paid Climate & Energy Fellowship (Apply by March 6, 2026)

 Hello,

I hope all is well. I’m reaching out to share a paid fellowship program that may be a great fit for students or recent graduates interested in climate action, sustainability, energy, environmental science, policy, or community engagement.  I’m currently serving as a Maryland Climate Corps Fellow with Howard County’s Office of Community Sustainability, where I work on energy efficiency, electrification, and community outreach.
The Chesapeake Bay Trust is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Chesapeake Conservation & Climate Corps. The program places young professionals with nonprofits and local or state government agencies across Maryland. This is a full-time, one-year paid service program running from August 2026 through August 2027. Corps Members receive a $33,280 stipend and are supported throughout the year with professional development training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The program is open to applicants between the ages of 18 and 25.
Howard County’s Office of Community Sustainability is a host organization this year and is planning an Energy & Climate position. This role supports local climate and energy initiatives, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, electrification, policy research, and community outreach through Howard County’s Climate Action and Resiliency Plan.
Application deadline: March 6, 2026 at 4:00 PM
