Student Research Assistant position:
Sustainable disease management in greenhouse and nursery crops
Do you like working with plants? Working outdoors? Are you interested in water recycling and reuse? Plant health? Fungi?
Start Date: Flexible, summer and fall
Hours / week: Flexible, 10-12 hours/week
Pay scale: $12/hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring water quality and plant health in nurseries
- Prepare sampling materials and media
- Learn and help with laboratory and greenhouse work
Minimum Qualifications
- Some coursework in biological sciences
- Possess a valid Maryland driver’s license
- Willingness to conduct field work
- Ability to work at least three hours at a time
