Are you a current horticulture student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on, paid experience in the field? The National Park Service Landscape Stewardship Corps is recruiting for internships for Spring/Summer 2026.
These internships offer immersive, field-based experience caring for historic and cultural landscapes in national parks across the country. Interns work alongside National Park Service professionals on projects that may include horticultural maintenance, historic landscape preservation, landscape documentation, and stewardship of nationally significant sites.
These opportunities are a great fit for:
- Recent graduates and alumni of horticulture or related programs, or current students with schedule flexibility
- Those interested in public lands, historic preservation, and outdoor, career-building work
Applications will be open at parks nationwide from January through March, with positions starting between March and June, depending on the park.
