The UMD chapter of Minorities In Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences will be having its fourth General Body Meeting (GBM) Thursday, October 21th. Between 5pm and 5:45 we will be mentoring elementary school boy scouts on Zoom (https://umd.zoom.us/j/
For the first portion of our GBM, we will be doing a college/career panel and giving the boy scouts advice and answering their questions. For the second half, we'll be hanging out in the animal sciences courtyard, eating pizza, playing yard games, and getting to know each other. We will also be handing out pumpkins ($2 to enter for a chance to win $50) for a pumpkin carving competition - more details at the event! It's okay if you can't stay the whole time or for both portions. We hope to see you all next Thursday!

- We are looking for Chairs and general members for our Fundraising and Events & Outreach Committee. Our Fundraising Committee plans our fundraisers, and the Events & Outreach Committee will plan big events like our Maryland Day event. Let us know if you are interested in either of these committees. This is another great introductory leadership experience and we hope you will join us!
