REU internship about building resilient communities

I am pleased to announce that applications for the NSF REU Site on “Engineering for Bouncing Back” hosted by Oregon State University (OSU) are now being solicited. The website and application forms are live and ready to receive undergraduate applicants interested in interdisciplinary research on the topic of building resilient communities. Please note the following important dates: REU Program will run from June 13 to August 19, 2022. Students have to be able to attend the entire period in-person. OSU Covid safety policy requires vaccinations and masks, and will be required to be followed. Application deadline: March 14, 2022 Applicants will be notified of their admission status via email by April 15, 2022. Eligibility Criteria: GPA of 3.0 or above Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Must have at least one quarter or semester remaining to graduate after the program Students from underrepresented communities, community colleges, and institutions with limited research opportunities are highly encouraged to apply More details are here: https://engineering.oregonstate.edu/reu
