Title: Coordinator
Functional Title: Coordinator (Foundation Programs)

Category Status: Exempt Contingent Category 2
Unit: AGNR-UME-4-H Youth Development

Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This position is a full-time contractual position to provide support for the Maryland 4-H events, contests, state/national trips and other activities of the Maryland 4-H Program and coordination of 4-H events and activities held at the Maryland State Fair.

Qualifications:
Required –
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 to 2 years related experience.

Preferences –
  • Experience with the 4-H Youth Development Program as a member, volunteer and/or employee.
  • The individual must have good computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse audiences and a strong understanding of the importance and role of youth development in executing the numerous trips, events, contests and other activities of the Maryland 4-H Program.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience; base salary of $48,001. This is a full-time contractual position The University of Maryland offers an extensive benefits package.
