We are seeking a motivated Junior Specialist in the Department of Plant Pathology and the Genome Center at the University of California, Davis, to assist in a genetic screen of rice roots for carbon sequestration. The project is in conjunction with the Innovative Genomics Institute, UC Berkeley.
Not mentioned in the solicitation, but we are also looking at soil aggregation, methane, and a bit of mineral cycling.
