Students workers for ENST's Project Development Center
ENST's Project Development Center (PDC) is looking for student workers to do some machinery shop work, deliver mail, move equipment and furniture, and other assigned duties this year. PDC needs student workers who can work between 10 and 20 hours each week during normal shop hours (7am-5pm), with preference given to students who can commit to multiple afternoons. Preference will also be given to students who have taken INAG 250 Agriculture Mechanics.
Student workers would earn $15/hour. Applicants must be current UMD students, have power tool skills, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record so that they can drive a departmental truck. Employment may extend past the spring semester for excellent employees (but must be capped at 20 hours per week during school semester due to state/federal laws). Applicants should send an email indicating their name, UID number, major, year in school, and a list of power tools they've used in the past to Mr. Les Lorenz, PDC Manager, at llorenz@umd.edu by October 13th for best consideration for immediate hire.
