For six days leading up to the Spring Career & Internship Fair (Tues, Feb. 18-Thurs, Feb. 20 in Stamp), the University Career Center is hosting special drop-in hours to help students feel prepared for fair!Drop-by (no appointment necessary) for a 10-15 minute resume critique (please print your resume), practice your introduction to employers, or get a better understanding of what to expect at the Career & Internship Fair. These drop-ins are available to all UMD students.

Intern for a Day
Intern for a Day, a short-term job shadowing experience for undergraduate students to learn about a field of interest.Students must attend a mandatory orientation session in order to receive the Intern for a Day application and to be considered for the program. There are 7 orientation sessions to choose from that works best with a students' schedule.

Careers in Food Environmental Justice

Environmental justice is defined as the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. Briefly stated, food justice is the notion that there should be equity in the production, distribution and consumption of food.
