ASABE Washington, DC/Maryland Section Scholarship - $1500
funded by donations of local agricultural engineers who felt it was their responsibility to assist worthy students with financial need. Environmental stewardship is one of their interests.
Robert L. and Frances C. Green Scholarship -$1000
created by family members. Dr. Green served as Chair of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at UMD from 1965 to 1979 and as Acting Director of the Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station from 1972 to 1976. Dr. Green was very involved in soil and water conservation work.
