As farm interns 2 decades ago, we fondly welcome you!!! We are a 5 acre organic low-till suburban family farm in Darnestown, MD surrounded by Seneca Creek State Park. We focus on permaculture principles of earth care, people care and closing waste loops. We operate an egg CSA, grow on biointensive raised beds and are completing a 30'x72' high tunnel for year-round use. Activities include organic market gardening, artisanal hemp production, composting, high tunnel construction, hugelkultur systems and pastured chickens and goats. Opportunities are available to work with Intermediate students on a nearby Montessori student-run organic farm .
