Age of Consequences - Film Screening / Discussion Panel

UMD's Global Sustainability Initiative, the Office of Sustainability, and other co-sponsors invite you and others (please forward this invitation) to watch The Age of Consequences, a movie explaining how climate change is accelerating national security concerns and geopolitical instability. We are honored to have the following panelists for a discussion after the movie:

Dr. Sandra Knight, UMD Center for Disaster Resilience
Dr. Steven Fetter, UMD School of Public Policy
Ms. Poorti Sapatnekar, Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (moderator)
This is a unique event bringing together several of UMD's environmental and national security programs. The event it open to the public.

Please join us on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:30 pm in Room 1224 of the Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center. The movie screening will run from 2:00 to 3:30 and the panel will run for about 60 minutes thereafter.
