Summer Internship position - UMD in person

The Palmer and Agroecology labs are seeking qualified interns interested in gaining experience in ecological/environmentally-focused laboratory and field research for the summer 2021 field season. The internship will be in person and on campus. Adherence to UMD COVID-19 testing requirements and protocols both on and off campus is required.

You will be mentored by graduate and postdoctoral researchers and develop relevant and transferrable field and laboratory skills. This is a full-time, paid position tentatively starting June 1 and ending Aug 20This position could fulfill internship requirements for select majors (e.g. PSLA and ENST) and has the potential to continue in the Fall for additional internship credit.

The position involves ~80% lab work and ~20% fieldwork in incredibly beautiful landscapes nestled along the Delmarva Peninsula.
