Multiple internships at Agroecology Lab at UMD

The Agroecology Lab at the University of Maryland is hosting multiple internships this summer. Our lab's goal is to explore the interface of agriculture and ecology where fields, farms, and landscapes promote crop productivity and ecosystem services. Our research combines methods from agronomy, field ecology, hydrology, and mathematical modeling to develop strategies that will make agriculture more sustainable. The deadline to apply for these internships is Friday 22 Apr 2022. There are three tracks and the complete descriptions of each internship are in the attached PDFs. Please use the linked Google Forms below to submit your application. You may apply to multiple tracks. Joint Agroecology and Science Communication Internship is a unique opportunity for undergrads seeking to bridge science and writing. You will spend half the summer in the field and lab learning agroecological research techniques and the second half working on science communications and outreach working with the Harry Hughes Center for Agro-ecology. A writing sample is required to apply for this internship.
