USGS Hydrologist/Geomorphologist

The USGS at the Maryland-Delaware-DC Water Science Center in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring a Recent Graduate Hydrologist/Geomorphologist as a GS-11 or -12 ($74,950-$116,788).

 

The candidate can expect to work on a variety of sediment and geomorphic-related projects and studies. These may include sediment fingerprinting studies, trend analyses and assessments of habitat and channel change in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, and involvement in national programs modeling sediment across the US. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their own line of research. The position will have a mixed workload of field-, lab-, and office-based duties, including project management.
