UMD Admissions - Student Tour Guide Positions Now Posted!
On behalf of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, we are thrilled to announce the opening of student tour guide positions starting this fall! Previously, our student tour guides were part of a student organization known as the IMAGERs, which has been active on campus since 1984 and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
In collaboration with the IMAGERs, we have decided to transition to a fully paid model for our tour guides. This change will enable us to work more closely with our guides on strategic goals for campus tours and ensure the team represents the diversity and entirety of our university.
EVS is looking to hire approximately 50 guides and four coordinators. The coordinator roles come with additional responsibilities, detailed in the job descriptions. Students can apply for both the campus tour guide and campus tour guide coordinator positions through e-jobs. The best consideration deadline for applications is July 26th, and we look forward to interviewing a diverse pool of candidates.
