NSF Graduate Fellowship Opportunties Due date: July 26th, 2017

Info Session about Applying for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)

All undergraduate researchers at the University of Maryland, College Park are welcome to attend!!! Rising 1st and 2nd year graduate students  are also welcome (rising 2nd year students must not have applied for the GRFP this past autumn 2016). US Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible.

Location for all events: CSS Room 1113 - also known as the Atlantic Building (formerly the Computer and Space Sciences Building)


Time for all events: 4:10 – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, July 26 - Applying for the NSF Graduate Fellowship -  talk for undergraduates and recent alumni, also open to rising 1st and 2nd year graduate students

Description: The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (GRFP) offers 3 years of support to students pursuing graduate studies (usually for the Ph.D.) in NSF-supported fields of study. This talk will provide detailed guidance about applying for NSF GRFP awards, and especially about using the summer to get your applications off to strong starts. The talk is relevant to undergraduates and recent graduates planning graduate studies, and to rising 1st and 2nd year graduate students (rising 2nd year students must not have applied for the GRFP this past autumn 2016). US Citizens and Permanent residents are eligible.
