As a part of the University Career Center's Government Industry Series, Career Day with USDA seeks to connect students with professional within the US Department of Agriculture. Student attending this event will: 

1. learn about the different agencies within the department, career paths and position titles 

2. Network with professionals and make meaningful contacts

3. Identify key skills and competencies needed for a successful careers within the federal government.

Confirmed USDA employees represent agencies such as:

•  Agricultural Marketing Service
• Animal Plant Health Inspection Service
• National Agricultural Statistics Service
• National Resource Conservation Service

Employees attending have roles such as:

• Chemist
• Statistician
• Entomologist 
• Human Resources
• Government Relations
• Environmental Protection Specialist and much more!

Students from ALL majors are invited to attend.
