Laboratory Assistant- No Experience Necessary!

The ENST Pedology Laboratory is looking to hire an undergraduate student for 10-20 hours a week (average). The position will start as soon as it can be filled and could extend through the winter and next semester. No experience is necessary, we'll teach you what you need to know. We're looking for someone who can process samples and measurements for several experiments. Work will include preparing soils for carbon analysis, running particle size analysis, making pH measurements, lab cleaning and organization, and other related tasks. There may be days when you are asked to join fieldwork. You will be working with Martin Rabenhorst and his graduate students, including me. If interested, send a resume or CV to bwessel@umd.edu
