Wildlife and Energy Program Manager- Closes 1/16/22 or until Filled The Energy and Wildlife Program Manager serves as the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) lead on energy and wildlife issues by staffing the Energy & Wildlife Committee; serving as a liaison to the states, US Geological Survey, and other federal partners; collaborating on solutions to avoid, reduce or mitigate energy and wildlife conflicts; and communicating with and overseeing a network of practitioners. Adaptation Program Manager- Closes 2/10/22 or until filled; description attached. The Adaptation Program Manager manages and coordinates the Association’s climate adaptation programs; ensures climate adaptation program implementation and activities are carried out in line with the organization’s objectives and goals. This position is currently held by Maggie Johnson who has accepted a new position with Conservation International. Maggie’s last day will be a week from today. We’ll miss her at AFWA!
