As a candidate, you must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in biology or wildlife, or a similar degree by the start date, with a competitive GPA.
- Possess a valid US driver's license, with two or more years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Be willing to travel frequently by driving during the field season.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with organizational and planning skills.
- Be capable of working independently and in a team environment with members from diverse backgrounds.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have previously worked as a full-time wildlife field technician.
- Have conducted bat acoustic surveys in the past.
- Are from Nebraska or neighboring states and possess knowledge of local fauna, flora, and landscapes.
- Have strong analytical skills proven by coursework and/or publications.
