Idaho Panhandle National Forest soil technicians

One of our alumni informed us about soil technicians she's hiring for at the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. The deadline is Oct 6th but you can reach out to her about future job openings and tips. Unfortunately, I'm not able to attach documents to a blog post, so reach out to her directly for all the documents he has available to give you tips on applying for a federal job. I'm reaching out from the Idaho Panhandle National Forest to let prospective candidates know that we are now accepting applications for the 2023 summer season! Applicants may apply on usajobs.gov from September 29th through October 6th, positions the Idaho Panhandle is looking to fill are included on the attached outreach documents. Use the vacancy numbers from the outreach document to search for the positions you would like to apply for. I personally will be staffing a crew of soil technicians, and candidates are welcome to contact me or Phil Schwartz (philip.schwartz@usda.gov) with any questions! These positions will start in late April or June, and end in the fall. Current students and recent graduates are all welcome! Please share widely. Applicants please note, the federal hiring process takes some time. After applying, it will likely be a few months before you hear back from a Forest Service representative or hiring manager. If you don't hear back right away, don't stress! If you aren't interested in a soils position, feel free to contact me to be put in touch with other hiring managers on the forest.
