Paid internship Marine Invasions / Larval Ecology - MD

Description: The Marine Invasions Lab at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) is seeking an intern to help with a research related to the reproductive biology of mussels and barnacles. The intern will work closely with a team on reproductive and larval biology, have the opportunity to participate in multiple other projects such as the Nearshore Survey, and conduct an independent project.

The intern will be based on the SERC campus in Edgewater, Md. The internship dates span typically for 10 weeks during the academic summer. Both current students and recent graduates will be considered.

The intern will receive a stipend of $550 per week. There is limited on-site dormitory space available for $105 per week.
