Study Abroad program - Sweden & Denmark

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
  • Learn on the go principles of Sustainable “Green” Infrastructure & Smart Cities;
  • Hands-on sustainable infrastructure design projects on real case studies.
  • Interaction with students from University of Lund.
  • Visit most Important Cultural Marvels & State of the Art Sustainability Infrastructure Projects.
  • Cultural Immersion in Swedish and Denmark culture (museums, sampling authentic finest food).
  • Explore Sweden & Denmark cultural & sustainability marvels in Lund, Malmo and Copenhagen.
  • Participate in the unique Green Challenge international competition at Technical University of Denmark, DTU with projects addressing the United Nations 17 Sustainability Areas (optional).

Program Academics: 3+1 credits open to all levels & major
  • 3-credit Upper 400 Level Technical Elective for your Major
  • 3-credit Sustainability Minor Tech Elective(double counts)
  • 3-credit “Internship-and-Practicum” elective (triple count)
  • + 1 credit 400 level project based course by participating in Green Challenge International Competition with projects from the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals).- optional
Scholarships
  • $1,200-$1,500 Education Abroad: March 1st
  • $500 College of Engineering/ Global Leadership: March 1st
  • $500 -$1,000 National Scholarships Ongoing applications
  • $2,000-5,000 Department Scholarships (contact Dr. Goulias).
  • $500 - $800 Supplementary Scholarships for 3+1 credits (contact Dr. Goulias).
  • $1,000+ Green Challenge competition: Office of Global Engineering $1,000 flight voucher: apply by February 15th
