MaryPIRG internships

My name is Sarah and I’m the MaryPIRG Students organizer. I’m writing to introduce myself and invite you to apply for one of our Fall 2021 Internships. Our early application deadline is 8/31. You can learn more and apply here.

I’ve been organizing for 4 years working with students in North Carolina, Washington, New Jersey, and Maryland on campaigns to protect our environment, fight climate change, increase student voter turnout, and end campus hunger. Last year, I worked with students to pass Washington’s 100% bill which commits Washington to 100% renewable electricity by 2045. I’m so excited to be working with you at UMD to continue to build a better future for us all.

This Fall, we will be working to protect our environment, promote public health, stop the overuse of antibiotics, make higher ed affordable, feed the hungry and more. Check out more about our campaigns on our website.

To apply, fill out the linked application: Apply to be an Intern!

MaryPIRG Students is a student-led political activism organization with opportunities for students to make significant grassroots changes in our community. We believe students have the power to shape the future we will inherit, and have been at the forefront of social change for many years.

Whether you are interested in lobbying, graphic design, social media outreach, public speaking, creating media, or just getting more involved on campus, MaryPIRG Students is a place for students with different skills and backgrounds to come together and enact meaningful change.
