Title: Development of remote soil-water harvester
Summary: There is demand for freshwater in remote locations where surface waters are not readily available. Harvesting freshwater from within the soil profile could be a sustainable practice. The project will develop an apparatus and system for automatically harvesting soil-water for use aboveground. Skills in arduino coding, soil physics, solar power, basic DC electronics, technical drawing and product development will be explored.
