FOR ENST RELATED CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
The Student Government Association, SustainableUMD, ResLife, and RHA are hosting the second annual EarthFest event at McKeldin Mall on April 21st (Raindate: TBD), 11 am-3 pm, where we want to showcase student orgs, UMD Labs, UMD departments, and any groups who are involved in Environmental Science and Sustainability to celebrate earth week! There will also be demonstrations, workshops, a thrift shop, game stations, collaborative artwork, and more! We will share more information, including a diagram of the event as soon as possible!

Also, please consider connecting your organization with the LEAFhouse Cooperative, which is working to create a place where all the organizations related to sustainability can collaborate better. We will use this platform to set up a group chat and meetings to get to know each other and get input from everyone to brainstorm EarthFest plans! (We will also communicate this through emails)

For Earth Fest, all we ask of your organization is to bring an interactive activity, if possible, or some kind of fun informative & educational showcase related to Environmental Science or Sustainability that you would like to show to students! (Last year, we had over 400 students attend!)
We would love for any organization, whether environmental or not, to join us as long as you have a showcase that relates to the topic!
As we aim to maximize our outreach to students, especially those who might not have strong connections to sustainability, we would appreciate it if you could share the EarthFest event within your network and on social media (using the #EarthMonthUMD hashtag).
