Energy Audit Internship

buildings to resolve problems related to comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. Home

Description: Home Energy Medics (HEM) seeks an intern to support the growth of company

operations. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in energy audits, learn about

principles of building science and the indoor environment, and assist in the development of new

business processes. The intern will be able to make a real and lasting difference.

Specific tasks:

 Assist HEM auditors during residential energy audits and help identify solutions to comfort,

 Support the transition to a new audit / proposal report style

 Under the guidance of the president, assist in the development and maintenance of business

 Research and report on further capabilities of our customer relationship management (CRM)

 Provide feedback and input to a new website design as needed


Qualifications: The prospective intern must have strong communication skills and a background in

engineering, environmental science, or related discipline. The intern must have a strong interest in health and sustainability initiatives, a professional work ethic, and positive attitude towards helping

homeowners. Preferred candidates will have some familiarity with marketing, media tools, and/or website design.

Compensation: $15/hour. This is a full time position.
