Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s Outdoor Center, is located in the American Heartland in South Central Indiana. We are surrounded by rolling hills, limestone bluffs, deciduous forests and miles of waterways. Indiana is central to great outdoor adventures with over 25 state parks, World-renowned climbing in nearby Red River Gorge, amazing backpacking in The Hoosier National Forest and miles of mountain bike trails. We are continuously hiring outdoor professionals who are eager to teach children about the outdoor environment and to facilitate team building programs. We have been offering programs for over 60 years and specialize in state-based curriculum. We seek candidates who love the outdoors and have skills in teaching children, leading trips, and working at summer camps. We seek academic backgrounds such as recreation, environmental and adventure education, resource management, biology and much more.

- Professional Outdoor Instructors
- Teach Environmental Ed most days with some facilitation on ropes courses
- Environmental Education Specialist
- Adventure Education Specialist
- Adventure Therapy/Adventure Ed./Retreats Combined Specialist
- Any of the above can be used as a 400-600 hour internship
Summer 2018 includes the following positions:
- Professional Outdoor Instructors
- Facilitate Adventure Ed programs, run 2 Environmental Explorers camps for kids in 4th-8th and a teens camp for 9th-12th, support Rec Therapy Camps through adapted climbing, support Retreats recreational programming.
- Adventure Education Specialist
- Any of the above can be used as a 400-600 hour internship
