The successful candidate should have demonstrated ability as a qualitative bat expert with experience completing mist-net surveys and have a USFWS collectors permit with experience completing bat acoustic surveys, qualitatively identifying federally-listed and candidate bat species such as the Indiana bat, northern long-eared bat, tri-colored bat, and little brown bat. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and completing bat and other wildlife related studies, including, habitat assessments for rare species, and preparing/reviewing technical reports of survey results.
