We are pleased to announce the EcologyPlus Green Opportunity, Diversity Workshop and Career Fair, happening February 17, 2023. We would love for you to share this FREE event with your students and/or recent graduates interested in ecology and related environmental jobs! This event aims to recruit diverse underrepresented minorities for internships, jobs, graduate programs and fellowship opportunities. Your support to encourage attendance of diverse students will help advance our goal of creating an inclusive environmental field to address the many pressing challenges of sustainability, public health, and resilience communities face.
Made possible by the National Science Foundation, the Career Fair will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Student Center next to the Van Ness Metro station in Washington, DC.
This event will feature:
Mini-workshops focused on a variety of career skills
Networking opportunities and lunch
Potential to secure a paid opportunity
Door prizes from exhibitors
