Reducing Food Waste and Food Insecurity – Modeling, Technology, and Business

 

A successful candidate should have a background in project management, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to help manage large teams and keep personnel on-task. The project will involve working with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, IT, business entrepreneurship, social socialists, and extension specialists to use bring technologies to markets that aid in reducing food waste and increasing food security. The candidate should have a background in project management. Knowledge modeling, IT, entrepreneurship, or anaerobic digestion of food waste is desired, not required.

A B.S. is required, with hourly salary based on work experience and degrees obtained. This 9-month position could be part or full-time (60-100% time). The applicant must be available during work hours in the Maryland/DMV area for interviews, meetings, and project management near College Park, MD.
