Position Description: Volunteers/unpaid Interns work with stream monitoring crews to collect biological, physiochemical, and habitat data needed to assess stream health.

Position Description: Volunteers/unpaid Interns work with stream monitoring crews to collect biological, physiochemical, and habitat data needed to assess stream health.
Duties may include:
• Stream monitoring:
Fish samplingHabitat assessmentsPhysical chemistry samplingAmphibian & reptile surveys
• Laboratory/office:
Benthic macroinvertebrate sub-samplingData entry and database queryingPublic outreach projects
Interns and volunteers should have reliable transportation, be prepared to work full days outside, and be capable of carrying up to 30 lbs of gear.
