S/he will help develop a literature review of habitat needs and related GIS model(s) for wetland species/communities on the Delmarva. Results will support TNC's efforts working with NRCS and others to prioritize wetland restoration and conservation efforts. We envision the opportunity is well suited for undergraduate juniors and seniors, recent graduates, or graduate students who are looking for applied experience. Ideally (but not exclusively), the candidate will have a background in hydrology and capacity to think about habitat needs in terms of hydroperiod and hydrochemical characterizations.
