We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented GIS intern to join our award-winning company. The candidate will be expected to support project teams with database management and geospatial analysis. The ideal candidate will be an experienced ESRI ArcGIS user with a strong interest in data analysis, visualization, and the environment. This internship is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a professional setting. This is a Summer 2023 internship, with the possibility of extension into Fall 2023.
Education/ Experience Requirements: At least two years of college-level study, including GIS courses, toward a major in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field. Candidate must be familiar with database entry and organization, ESRI ArcGIS software, ArcGIS online, and ArcGIS Story Map.
Job Type: Part-time internship, 10-12 hours/week. Work hours are flexible to be scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Compensation: $15/hour
Location: 801 Industrial Street, Wilmington, Delaware. Located on the 7th Street Peninsula near the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard with free parking. Hybrid work arrangements (in office and remote) are available depending on project needs.
