Land Stewardship Internship
Chadds Ford PA
Duties:
- Assist easement management team with on-site monitoring of eased lands
- Maintain field notes and prepare inspection reports in an Access database
- Assist in the research, administration and organization of easement records
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned
- Contribute to publications as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret maps and orient oneself in the field
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including the ability to walk long distances through varying terrain and vegetation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
- Knowledge of land management practices and conservation easements desired
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) desired
The internship will last approximately ten weeks, beginning in May, and will be compensated at the rate of $15 an hour. Housing is not available.
